Rumors have been flying around like crazy that America Ferrera, from Ugly Betty, has auditioned for the role of Emily Young in New Moon. However, controversy has surrounded the quotes and talks that supposedly where from and about America Ferrera. It is now cleared up that it was not Ferrera but America Young, the Native American actress, that has auditioned for the role of Emily Young. Emily Young is Sam Uley's fiancee whom he imprints on after he becomes a werewolf. Emily Young is Leah Clearwater's (Sam Uley's high school sweetheart) second cousin and their once close relationship is strained after the involuntary imprinting by S
am. Now that that is all cleared up it is easy to see how the mistake of the wrong America happened. America Ferrera seems to just be the first "America" actress that comes to people's mind-so that when they don't read tags correctly they miss seeing the "Young" at the end of the tag.
