Eric Yorkie is a classmate of Bella Swan who was immediately interested in her when she moved to Forks, Washington. He is described as being an “overly helpful” chess club/math type, he is very tall with a poor complexion, and hair as black as an oil slick. He reminds Bella of being greasy.

He is resentful of Mike Newton’s similar interest in Bella and is later seen walking the other way after Mike is hit with a snowball. Eric is among the many that ask Bella to a school dance, but she declines and he goes with Angela Weber instead. He continues to hang around Bella awaiting a miracle like the other boys, however, Bella just sees it as amusing. At the end of the saga we see that Eric is valedictorian of his graduating class.

He is described as an academic and friendly individual, eager to help others, as seen when he welcomes Bella to the school on her first day. Eric’s role in the series is primarily as part of Bella’s circle of human friends in Forks.

He is portrayed as an average high school student involved in typical school activities including the school newspaper. He is part of the group that includes Bella, Jessica Stanley, Angela Weber, and Mike Newton, and he often interacts with Bella and her friends in various school-related scenes throughout the series.

Career: Justin Chon started acting in 2005 in shows such as Jack & Bobby and Taki & Luci. Justin played the role of Bobbie in the movie Puff, Puff, Pass. Justin came to fame in 2006 when he played Peter Wu in the Disney Channel film Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. He also played Tony Lee in the Nickelodeon sitcom Just Jordan, Chester Lopman in Zoom! and Joe Chang in Ball’s Out: The Gary Houseman Story. In 2008, Justin landed the role of Eric Yorkie, a geeky nerdy high-schooler, in the film Twilight, based on the book by Stephenie Meyer. Justin is expected to return as Eric Yorkie in New Moon due out late 2009.

Justin owns a shoe company called Attic-it has two locations, one in Buena Park and one in San Diego. Justin plays the piano, guitar, violin, and saxophone and is currently in a band as a “creative outlet.” Justin loves to skateboard and he speaks fluent Korean.
