According to the Examiner, it looks as though some filming for Eclipse recently went down at Nanaimo Lakes. However, no cast members were present. So what was this filming for? Any ideas as to the scene? The general consensus at the moment is that it has to do with the transformation of Alec and Jane. Read here:
"According to The Daily News, though, some filming was done in Nanaimo Lakes recently (absent the cast) that the production team isn't spilling about. The scenes, it is reported, were visual effects shots. "Two of our cast members, Cameron Bright who plays Alec and Jodelle Ferland who plays Bree, have ties to Nanaimo, but were not involved in the scenes shot locally," a production member stated."

Maybe this is where Billy Black and Charlie hear the howling of the wolves. It could be a visual of the lake they are on with the wolf sounds in the distant...then possibly cutting to Billy and Charlie on the lake...Just a thought...It looks like the lake I pictured in my head when reading this part in the books.
