About TwilightBlog

Started in December of 2008, TwilightBlog was the brain child of Daryl and Tara over several talks about the newest and craziest fad - Twilight. Neither had yet seen the movie, although Tara was currently reading Twilight and beginning to understand what all the fuss was about. The site started out as a rough sketch for the first month or two as decisions about what content to present, what the site should look like, and promotion slowly gathered pace.

Tara took up the journalism aspect of the site and deals with making sure there are uniform patterns to posts, quality/content of posts, plagiarism issues, and some PR work. Daryl, being the computer master, keeps up the site, affiliates, maintenance issues, and the other half of the PR.

Now, a year later the blog is a world-wide success with several other people contributing and/or writing for the site as they are dedicated Twilight fans. You can see the different people contributing/posting by seeing who posts at the top of each post (there are profiles if you click on the names).

TwilightBlog started with a mission to keep fans updated on the books, movies, actors, filming, appearances, and the alike, while trying to keep speculation at an all time low. Whether it involved rumors about the cast or privacy invasion, TwilightBlog decided to keep only to facts, unless "rumors" could be proven with an untampered with picture (they are worth a thousand words!). We still hold true to that today and for the future!
