BooBoo Stewart Howls...Literally

Alex Meraz Grabs Kristen Stewart
The second day of the Twilight convention had Alex Meraz admitting about his awkward moment with Kristen Stewart while filming with the wolf pack. We think its terribly funny but it's easy to see how Kristen thinks a little too highly of herself. Without further ado, there is the incident of Alex Meraz's insanity and Kristen Stewart's self-love:
"I decided, all right, the Wolf Pack stay up all night looking for who's killing people on the res, so we don't sleep very much. So I thought it would be a great idea if I stayed up for 10 days straight." What should have been a simple scene — a confrontation between Bella (Stewart) and the Wolf Pack — became, in Meraz's mind, his "Brando moment." Wanting to try something different, the actor played the scene overly aggressive: screaming, grabbing Stewart by the throat, hurtling his line at her.
"[Director] Chris Weitz comes off-set like, 'Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little,' " Spencer chimed in: "Meanwhile the producers are freaking out back there."

Summit officially released this poster of Christopher Heyerdahl who plays Volturi vampire Marcus. The picture, in our opinion, is not very unique, it is very much like every other poster and picture released by Summit for New Moon. However, it is awesome to get a quick glimpse of the costume and make-up for one of the Volturi!
Stephenie Meyer Believes 'Breaking Dawn' Should Be Two Movies
Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer believes that the movie portrayal of Breaking Dawn should be spilt into two individual movies. Here is a recently explanation from Stephenie of why she thinks so.
In the mind of TB.net however, we think one movie would probably be best. There is one main reason. The Twilight Saga books are full to the brim of what creates the saga and had it capture millions, however, the movie opted to edit some of it out to create the film version. So saying, by the time Summit gets to Breaking Dawn, some of the characters and meanings of scenes and people will not exists so the book they need to portray will be much smaller. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, it is just what it is. Summit will not be trying to copy the heavyweight Breaking Dawn we all read.

'Eclipse' Filming in Vancouver Today!
We all know that finding the locations of filming for the Twilight Saga films is not so easy to find. But it has now been confirmed by OLV (and their readers) that Eclipse is filming at David Thompson High School in Vancouver through today. Filming at the High School started last night but will continue through today. However, we have no clue as to which cast members will be/are present. David Thompson High School is the same school used in New Moon.On another note...I love this fan made poster! The detail is amazing and the subject is very well done.

Kisten & Taylor Talk About Their Break-Up
Thanks to MTV.com, we have a brand new interview with Kristen & Taylor! Be sure and check it out below...MTV: He is very huggable. Tell us about one scene that you read either in Stephenie Meyer’s book or in Melissa Rosenberg’s screenplay that you were like, “Man, that’s going to be tough to pull off,” and tell us how you were able to figure it out.
Stewart: “New Moon” is riddled with all of that. I think it’s the one book in the series that I was intimidated by — in a good way. That’s the best feeling to start a movie with. But probably, my favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], “It’s him; it’s always been him!” Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me.
MTV: It was a tough day to shoot?
Stewart: Yeah, and just like everything in our movie, it’s such a heightened version of reality. It’s like, people don’t just break up [in the "Twilight" films] — they break up and it literally kills you. It’s not like you just say, “Oh, I’m really depressed and crying.” Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, “Am I doing enough? Do I look like I’m going to die?”
MTV: Yeah, it would be tough to be the most dramatic person in the world, but without being cheesy. And Taylor?
Lautner: ["New Moon"] is very complicated. There’s a lot of heartbreak, there’s a lot of things going on. Edward leaves at the beginning, she goes into this depression, I come to try and bring her out of it. Then I go through my own issues, and then she leaves me. It’s all over the place, and there’s a lot going on, and there’s many of those scenes that you described.
MTV: Which was your favorite to shoot?
Lautner: My favorite one was — well, we call it the breakup scene — but it’s the scene right after she sees me shirtless and I’ve cut off my hair, all different for the first time. I have to tell her that we can’t be friends anymore.

About Them: Seth changed earlier in his human life than the other werewolves since he changed around the same time as his sister Leah Clearwater. Unlike the rest of the werewolves, Seth is friends with the vampires unlike the rest of the pack. Towards the end of the Saga Seth and Edward have become good friends in the aftermath of the battle with Victoria and Riley where Seth assisted Edward in defeating both of the vampires. Seth also respects the Cullens a lot more than any other member of the pack and is willing to stand up to anyone who speaks ill of them. In the contest for leadership of the werewolves, Seth leaves Sam's pack to become Jacob's Alpha's Second. Jacob calls Seth a "Happy little punk." The feud between the two packs is resolved when Jacob imprints on Edward and Bella's daughter, Renesmee. Seth and all of the werewolves stand with the Cullens when the Volturi arrive to destroy them as it could mean the end of the werewolves as well. About Them: Maria is only mentioned in Eclipse as a part of Jasper's past. Jasper recalls Maria as a tiny brunette with a soft and musical voice that had a tendency to be sharp. Maria was a very mature and able vampire was she was able to control her thirst even though she still preyed on humans' blood.
Their Early History: All that we know of Maria is her early history as Jasper has not had contact with her in a long time. Jasper was a major in the Confederate Army and Maria was looking for humans that she could turn to vampires to create a newborn army when their lives first became entwined. After turning Jasper, Maria found him extremely useful because he was able to control the emotions of the vampires around him. With Jasper and her sisters, Nettie and Lucy, Maria was able to take over numerous territories previously held by other vampires in Mexico. Maria eventually destroyed her own sisters, Nettie and Lucy, when they rebelled. Jasper later ran away with two other members of Maria's army, Peter and Charlotte, due to Maria's ruthless rule. After Jasper left we do not know what happens to Maria, although, there are indications that she is still alive.

About Them: Riley was among the first humans that Victoria changed into a vampire as she formed her army. Victoria convinced Riley that she loved him and convinced him to serve her faithfully. Riley's job consisted of corralling the other new vampires, telling them what their mission was, and what they were supposed to do. It was Riley who came into Bella's room to get her scent in Eclipse and spared Charlie's life because he was mature enough to resist a human's blood. It was Riley that had to face Edward in the clearing. Edward tried to convince him to give up the fight by telling him that Victoria really only still loved her dead mate James, but Victoria’s grip on Riley's was too strong. Riley then tried to attack Edward, but Seth Clearwater got to Riley before he could and together Seth and Edward killed Riley.
Their Early History: Riley was a young man in 2006 when he was turned by Victoria to assist her in destroying the Cullen family. Nothing specific is known about Riley before his turning and the actual event. However, readers know that Riley was a handsome young man about Bella's age who believed Victoria really loved him.

Filming & Casting for 'Eclipse' Officially Announced
Summit has officially started filming for Eclipse! Woot Woot! As we did with the filming of New Moon, we here at TB.net can bring you the latest up to date news during the filming of Eclipse and the upcoming released of the highly anticipated New Moon. Here is part of Summit's officially announcement regarding the start of filming and the new actors that are joining the saga. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. What Is Wrong with the 2nd Official 'New Moon' Trailer
MTV posted their review of the 2nd New Moon trailer that was released this week. While the trailer is excellent, there are somethings missing that all Twis want to see. Here in their review, MTV plots out all that Twis need and want to see in a trailer to fully encompass New Moon. The review is excellent and hopefully will raise the bar for what fans are expecting in future trailers for the Twilight films:"The Cliff Dive — Kristen Stewart told us long ago that Bella's pivotal cinematic near-suicide will be CGI, and we've got to admit: We're still a bit concerned. Fan-made videos like this one give us an idea of some things to expect from what could be the most powerful moment in "New Moon," but so far, nothing official. Come on, Chris Weitz — cough it up!
Fight Scenes — Although Catherine Hardwicke's "Twilight" won the hearts of millions of women, it won't be stealing men away from sports and "Star Trek" sequels anytime soon. Now, with male directors in place for the next two films — and increasingly darker, more action-oriented plotlines to come — it's time to start convincing the dudes that seeing "New Moon" will do more than put you in your lady's good graces. But what have we glimpsed so far? Shirtless Jacob, shirt-open Edward, shirtless wolf pack. "Fight Club" gave the same number of abs, but also brought along just as many punches to the face — so bring back the honey and chicken, already!
The Vanishing Volturi — As any good Twilighter knows, the Volturi feature prominently not only in "New Moon," but also in the overall arc of the "Twilight" saga. So, why have they become the J.D. Salinger of the film series? We want full-on, official shots of Aro, Caius, Marcus and the rest. No more slowing down video clips to see if that's Michael Sheen in the background — it's time to bring out the big guns.
Quil Be Seeing You — Everybody's got their own favorite quasi-obscure "Twilight" character, and mine is Jacob's "wingman" Quil Ateara. We know he's played by Tyson Houseman in the film, but we haven't seen so much as a publicity shot yet. Sure, some might laugh — but I'll be wearing a "Team Quil" shirt when I see the film on opening night. Which reminds me of a second complaint: Why has no one invented "Team Quil" T-shirts yet?
It Ain't Easy Being Human— They're the nicest people in the world and the backbone of the "Twilight" film series: Mike Welch, Christian Serratos, Justin Chon, Anna Kendrick, Billy Burke and others. But although these fan favorites are among the most visible at "Twilight" conventions and other events, we haven't seen so much as a glimpse of them in the "New Moon" trailers. It's bad enough that these guys don't get to pretend they have superhuman powers, the ability to live forever or even a clue as to all the craziness going on in Forks. "Twilight" is nothing without the humanity that Stephenie Meyer injected into it — here's hoping that Weitz remembers that element as he's working all those long hours and late nights in the "New Moon" editing bay."

Stephenie Meyer's Summer
Stephenie Meyer posted on her website today! After a long summer of not hearing enough from our favorite author, she has now come forth into the sunlight and told us about her summer, so far:
First books. I didn't have a ton of time to read this summer, but I did discover one really wonderful two-book series. Dreamhunterand Dreamquake by Elizabeth Knox. It is like nothing else I've ever read. The characters are so real, you'll feel like you know exactly what they look like and how their voices sound and what they would say or do in any given situation. More than that, you'll want to hang out with them. Then the world is so amazing and unique. You will want to go there. You will want to walk into "the Place." And you will want to sleep in a dream opera.
I also got an early look at a book I've been eagerly awaiting: Catching Fire, the sequel to Suzanne Collins' phenomenal The Hunger Games. It not only lived up to my high expectations, it surpassed them. It's just as exciting as The Hunger Games, but even more gut wrenching, because you already know these characters, you've already suffered with them. Suzanne takes the story places I wasn't expecting, and she's never afraid to take it to very hard places. Stunning. You won't sleep when you're reading this one. It hits shelves September 1st. I suggest beginning in the early morning and clearing your calendar for the day.
Then music. No matter how busy I am, I can always listen to music, so I have a longer list of recommendations here. So, awesome CDs I discovered this summer..."

She then again rejoined with Shyamalan for Lady in the Water. Bryce starred as Rosalind in the film version of As You Like It, and as Peter Parker's love interest Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3. Recently Bryce Howard starred in Terminator Salvation as Kate Connor and has just been cast as the replacement for actress Rachelle Lefevre in the Twilight Saga as Victoria.

Radiohead Single for 'New Moon' Soundtrack?
We've all known that Radiohead is going to feature a song for the New Moon soundtrack. That has been official. But now they have released a song out of nowhere for no apparent reason. Could this be the song? The mood of the song fits with the dark mood of New Moon and the couplet the song focuses on sums up the idea of New Moon: "When are you coming back? / I just can't stand it." I really like the mass intro however, the five and half minutes of the song seems a little bit to long.
Ashley Greene Nude Scandal
Well all the press regarding Ashley's newest turmoil it doesn't seem to be hurting her. Not many more details have hit the Internet. Almost all of the pictures have been successfully removed from the Internet due to Ashley and her lawyer threatening to sue anyone who posts them. How are they able to do this? Ashley is claiming that she took the pictures herself at her home. This makes them her photographs and therefore are owned by her so the distribution of these pictures is illegal. Pretty smart move there. The pictures appear to be taken when Ashley was 19, the star is now 22. The pictures in question are two chest and head shots, one with Ashley covering herself and the other baring all. The third is more of the scandal with a full frontal shot of Ashley minus her head. But all of the details said, why in the world was she in the first place even taking pictures of herself like that? I mean really, if her man wanted to see her he should have come over. Whatever the reason, it does not seem to have truly hurt the actress career. Vanessa Hudgens' two incidents haven't set her back, so Ashley's one will fade quickly from the minds of the public.

Pete Wentz Offers Advice to Ashley Greene
In an interview with MTV Fall Out Boy band member, Pete Wentz, offered advice to actress Ashley Greene and others about the nude picture "scandal:"
'As you're probably aware, back in 2006, someone hacked into his Sidekick and posted photos of his, uh, manhood onto a message board, making his privates a very public matter. For about 48 hours, Wentz freaked out. He felt angry, embarrassed and — most of all — violated. He hemmed and hawed, nearly quit his band, but then, he decided he had to move on.
"Well, I handled it pretty terribly for the first 48 hours," Wentz said. "I mean, I quit my band and everything. But then what I realized is that it's not the worst thing on the planet that's ever gonna happen. [I] apologized to my mom, realized that the best way to not have pictures on the Internet is to never take the pictures at all, and then made fun of it. I mean, I didn't put those pictures out there myself. It wasn't some ploy, you know, like 'Yeah, this'll be a way I'll get my band big!' We made fun of it in the 'Arms Race' video. And just get over it."
Wentz said that, sure, the press is going to be bad for a while, but we're living in the 24-hour news cycle, which means, soon enough, there's gonna be another scandal for the media outlets to glom on to. So if you can take the heat — and learn to laugh at yourself a bit — you'll wind up just fine.
"I got asked about it in interviews for a while after that, and then I guess it didn't matter," he continued. "The bigger deal you make of it, and the more you try to prove that it wasn't you or it was like this or that, the only people who are really going to know the story are, like, you and two other people. So, it's like, don't sit out there and make it a big deal. Let it go away." '

Ashley Greene Nude Pictures Update
Gorgeous Ashley Greene is the latest star to be caught up in the issue of nude pictures hitting up the Internet. However, her and her attorney are taking a different route in dealing with the issue: Warning-Post them and you'll likely get sued."The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed," Ashley's lawyer stated in a recent statement. "Our client intends to take legal action."
Well, not sure what they mean by "legal action," as in defensive or offensive, but I guess we will all see! But goodness, I mean, we all know by now that whatever you do as a star gets on the internet...maybe they should all learn about that.

Yes, you read that right! A 2nd New Moon trailer will be released this Friday with the premiere of Summit's "Bandslam." But that's not all:
"A brand new, full length theatrical trailer from "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," will debut this Friday, exclusively with the Summit Entertainment August 14 release, "Bandslam."
For fans who simply can't wait for Friday, a 10 second tease of the new trailer will be airing nationwide, starting Tuesdaday, August 12th.
This tease will debut Tuesday Morning PST according to Summit."

Jodelle Ferland Cast For 'Eclipse'
Jodelle Micah Ferland, the 14 year old Vancouver actress, has just been cast to appear in Eclipse. Her role? Well, it is rumored that she will be playing Bree, but we aren't sure yet. "I'm not allowed to say, but I can tell you I am playing a newborn vampire," Jodelle stated. "But I'm not a newborn, I'm newly turned; some people don't get that."Jodelle also revealed that, "I hadn't heard much about Twilight when it first came out. I'm home-schooled so sometimes I don't hear about things like that. But my friends were all freaking out about Twilight and I was like 'What's that?' Now I know what it is obviously."
Jodelle was extremely thrilled to land a role in the upcoming Eclipse: "I'm so excited. It's not that I didn't think I would get the role, it's just that things like this never happen. I'm still having a hard time believing it."
She was so excited in fact that apparently she dished out her usual caution and critical analysis of a script before taking an offered role: "Usually I read the script before I take a role, but I haven't read this one. It's Twilight, of course I'm going to take it."

Stephenie Meyer & Blue October's Music
E! News discussed New Moon and Stephenie Meyer and how that Blue October’s song ‘Hate Me’ was the song that was in Stephenie's head while she was writing when Edward leaves Bella. 'Eclipse' Cast in Vancouver!
There have been millions (okay, not literally...) of sightings of the Eclipse cast showing up and hanging out in Vancouver for the filming of Eclipse! Shopping trips and coffee are commandeering the time as they await the beginning of rehearsals so filming can start later this month!

Chris Weitz Believes Dakota Fanning is Genuinely Scary
Here is a video interview done by MTV with New Moon director Chris Weitz. In the interview he states that he believes Dakota Fanning is genuinely scary. We sure hope so, Chris!
MTV: We all remember that there was a lot of drama around whether Taylor would return for “New Moon.” How close did he come to not being asked back?
Weitz: When I first met with him, I took off my shirt and I said, “You’ve got two months to look this good.” And he said, “I’m willing to try that.” Finally, he came back, and the results were just about as good as my abs. [Laughs.]
MTV: You must have a real six-pack.
Weitz: To answer your question seriously, the character in the second book is meant to be 6-foot-5, let alone transform into a werewolf and all that stuff. And Taylor, having only done three days of work in the first [movie], it was time to take a pause and say, “Should Taylor go ahead and do it?” My overwhelming feeling was, “Yes, absolutely, let’s go forward with it.” To me, it wasn’t a very difficult decision. For Taylor, it wasn’t difficult at all. He knew the character, and he embodied the character — as people are going to see in the movie. So it wasn’t really as tense and as scary a moment as it was portrayed in the media.
MTV: What can you tell us about Dakota Fanning’s performance as the evil vampire Jane?
Weitz: Well, it’s the scariest performance probably you’ve seen out of her so far, because she’s evil for once in her career. I think she really appreciated the chance to do that.
MTV: Yeah, she must turn that “adorable Dakota Fanning” thing on its ear.
Weitz: Absolutely. But what you expect from Dakota Fanning is uncannily grown-up, experienced and clever acting — and that’s what she did. I think she was just keen to do this part and to be part of the franchise, and she is genuinely scary.
