The featured New Moon soundtrack song, Satellite Heat by Anya Marina has been put to a slide show of our favorite stills from Twilight and New Moon. The song is really inspiring and we're excited to have it on the New Moon soundtrack! Anya Marina is very talented, she's like a breath of fresh air.

'Eclipse' Filming in Nanaimo Lakes?

According to the Examiner, it looks as though some filming for Eclipse recently went down at Nanaimo Lakes. However, no cast members were present. So what was this filming for? Any ideas as to the scene? The general consensus at the moment is that it has to do with the transformation of Alec and Jane. Read here:

"According to The Daily News, though, some filming was done in Nanaimo Lakes recently (absent the cast) that the production team isn't spilling about. The scenes, it is reported, were visual effects shots. "Two of our cast members, Cameron Bright who plays Alec and Jodelle Ferland who plays Bree, have ties to Nanaimo, but were not involved in the scenes shot locally," a production member stated."

Fame Hasn't Changed the Twilight Stars

MTV just posted a new interview they did with Anna Kendrick and she reveals and truly believes that the popularity and fame of the new hit, the Twilight saga, has not gotten into her co-stars' heads. You have to admit that this girl is a sweetheart!

MTV: So, Anna, you're in the middle of shooting the "Twilight" sequels. What is your work schedule like these days?
Anna Kendrick: Well, we started shooting ["Eclipse"]. I still have a few more things to do, and they'll be filming for months.

MTV: What's going on with Jessica in "Eclipse"? Is the role faithful to the character in the book, or are there new scenes that are added that you're excited about?
Kendrick: The thing about playing one of the human characters — the non-supernatural characters in the "Twilight" series — is we have a lot more liberty to make it our own and change things, because people don't have that attachment that they do to the myth of the world that Stephenie Meyer has created, in terms of the supernatural aspect. So we've never really gotten in trouble for straying a little bit. We're having fun. I mean, we're being faithful to the book, but with a few changes. I hope that they're fun.

New Moon: Leaked?

There are rumors flying around the wonderful Internet (mostly by spammers, in fact), that New Moon has leaked. Please understand that this is 100% NOT true.

We at TwilightBlog want to sincerely ask you to NEVER click any links that claim to have the full version of New Moon available for download. For one, it's not true, and secondly, you'll probably get a virus.

Another reason to never attempt to download New Moon (which of course, isn't actually New Moon), is the fact that often the MPAA will plant trackers into fake downloads and then prosecute those who attempt to illegally download new movies.

Just make sure you don't click or attempt to download ANYTHING that claims to be New Moon. Go see it in theater and wait 'til then :)

PS: The reason this was brought to our attention was because we recently had a spammer post a comment claiming to have a link which was the full "leaked version of New Moon."

Rob & Kristen: Finally Official?

It has been reported by numerous sources that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will confirm their romance in a revealing interview on the pages of the December issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine. As of now, this is all we know. This story comes directly from InTouch Magazine (Oct 5th edition)

Playing on-screen lovers in hit vampire drama film "Twilight" and its upcoming sequels, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have long been rumored dating. They have constantly denied the persistent romance speculation, but talks of them embarking on a love relationship off screen has been one of the top Twilight rumors to date (Kristen's and Taylor's being another ongoing rumor).

Hopefully, if this is for real, they don't break up right before the 4th installment... I guess it would give a whole new meaning to, "Breaking Dawn."

Maybe, if things don't go so smoothly for the young Hollywood couple, they could change the title to, "Breaking Up Dawn." ;)

Interview with Screen Writer Melissa Rosenberg

E!Online just had an interview with Twilight Saga screen writer Melissa Rosenberg. She was willing to let Twi fans in on some of what she sees going on in the saga:

' "Their chemistry on film is so extraordinary. They were beautifully cast for those roles and their chemistry is amazing. I think people often confuse chemistry onscreen with chemistry offscreen.

I think people should just enjoy what's onscreen and leave their privates lives wherever they are," she continued. "I don't actually know what they are." '

Ouch! Let them like it is woman! You go girl!

'Rosenberg is not allowed to could not confirm she's going to be tackling the script. "That's still up in the air. We're still talking and nothing's been decided."

"This is a character [Riley] that's really interesting and I got a chance to flesh him out," Rosenberg said, adding, "It's going to be really interesting watching the relationship between Riley and Victoria [Bryce Dallas Howard] growing.

There's a lot of things that go on in New Moon that expand on the book. The conflict at the end with the Volturi is an example. Building on them is going to be really intriguing for the fans." '

Wow, we totally love this woman, could she be any better at telling it as it is?

'New Moon' Tickets... SOLD OUT

Don't freak out, Twilighters! It's only in select areas.

Fandango reports that it already has 50 sold-out showings and that New Moon was the top seller of the weekend, New Moon is even outperforming movies that are actually out in theaters! MovieTickets.com is also stating that many of its showings are completely sold out as well.

And we still have 2 months to go!

... If you plan on seeing New Moon at 12:01 (or even opening weekend...) we suggest buying some tix ASAP!

Interview with "How to Be" Director

Kimberly Sherman from the Examiner had the awesome opportunity to interview Oliver Irving, director of How to Be, starring our very own Robert Pattinson. The interview is fun and quite enlightening into the man himself:

What was the inspiration behind the plot of How to Be? Was it based upon factual events in your life?
I was inspired by observations of the people around me at that time. Lots of peers were a bit lost after leaving university – also an interest in self-help books. I thought what a funny combination – young English guys in existential crisis together with this kind of American self help culture.

How was Robert Pattinson chosen for the role of Art? Did his musical ability play a role in his casting?
We found him after a year and a half’s worth of casting calls. He just seemed the right person for the job. He was interesting to look at – but down to earth enough to play the part. He really seemed to “get it” – he knew people like the characters in the script, and understood the main character ‘ART’. Not having gone through drama school, Rob’s acting and response to direction fit in well with other main cast members who were not trained actors either. Rob actually underplayed his musical ability in the auditions, as he knew the character was meant to be rough around the edges when it comes to musical ability – but it actually was invaluable in the end that he understood the music references and had the technical ability to pull off what we were asking from him.

How much of the film tour’s success do you attribute to Pattinson?
A massive amount – he brought a huge audience to our film which is all you can ask of a lead star. I think also the amount of festivals we had played up until that point and the strength of support from our fans really made it all possible.

Describe Robert Pattinson’s look in How to Be- was it difficult to play down his striking features? Was the choice of hairstyle and clothing planned before his casting or customized to fit him?
Yeah, it was funny, the Twilight team had a very different agenda – whilst they were looking for the most perfect styling and angles to make Rob look awesome, we put him in the most ill-fitting, awkward clothes, and almost sought out the most unflattering angles. All the costumes where customized to fit him – we also asked him to bring in clothes of his own which we could mix into his wardrobe – we wanted the clothes to feel like his own and look comfortable on him. He remarked afterwards in a Q&A that half the clothes he wore in the film were his already and half the clothes he kept to wear afterwards. His hairstyle was the result of me asking him not to cut his hair until the shoot to see what we came up with – and that was it – perfect!

Were you familiar with Rob, or had you heard of him before he was cast?
No – he told me he was in a Harry Potter movie but made it seem like a small part. After the first audition I was sure he could be good, so checked him out online and realized he had a huge fan base already. Another call back or two to doubly make sure we had our man, and we were set.
