There as been a sore point for many Twi-hards regarding Kristen's decision to cut off her lovely locks to physically portray Joan Jett for her movie, The Runaways. Many have now thought her ugly and others just quietly prayed her hair would grow back quickly. However, I think maybe we should all consider these pictures from a new photo shoot. Kristen looks absolutely stunning!

Taylor Lautner Drops 'Max Steel'

Well, we have posted before about how crazy busy the sexy Taylor Lautner seems to be with all of his new movies. However, one has just been dropped from the bucket. According to MTV there are several factors to this drop of the highly anticipated Max Steel:

Just last week we marveled at the sheer number of projects "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner had in development, and perhaps he was starting to feel the pressure too. After dropping out of "Northern Lights" earlier this week, the 18-year-old has parted ways with another project, "Max Steel," based on the Mattel toy, reports New York magazine's Vulture blog.

Sources say it was his "Stretch Armstrong" collaboration with rival toy company Hasbro that was the impetus for Taylor's departure. According to Vulture, Taylor realized Hasbro was doing a better job with its movie properties than Mattel. To wit, the toy company has leveraged board games Candy Land, Battleship and Risk into high-profile projects and had earlier success with a couple small flicks called "G.I. Joe" and "Transformers." Added one source, "When you sign up to make a movie with Hasbro, you know it will be in theaters a year later."

Less of Taylor Lautner is never a good thing, but we can't say we're too sad to see "Max Steel" go. While the toy is wildly popular internationally, it doesn't seem to have much name recognition here in the U.S. Though we will mourn those could-have-been shirtless scenes. Sigh.

So to recap, Taylor's current project list is comprised of "Cancun," "Abduction" and "Stretch Armstrong." And "Breaking Dawn" if Summit ever gets around to it. Still a lot for the rising actor, but a more manageable list, for sure.

Michael Sheen (Aro) attended the Royal premiere of Alice in Wonderland Thursday night in London. I have to admit, I am very excited to see this movie, all the talent in it and all. Also, stoked to see what Michael Sheen does in Eclipse in June! Hoping dearly that we get to see a lot more of him.

'Eclipse' Updates

With the time of the highly expected Eclipse coming near we know that all of our readers are anxious for any and all Eclipse updates. As always we promise to keep all of y'all updated as soon as something hits the web, television, or the papers. Don't forget that you too, can submit any Eclipse updates to us as well. As we have previously reported with one Eclipse update Eclipse should run about three hours if David Slade wants to appeal to all the Twi hards who want an accurate and fulfilling move. You can see this Eclipse update here.

Don't forget that the Eclipse trailer will be premiering in theaters on March 12th before Robert Pattinson's new movie, Remember Me. This Eclipse update can be seen here. As soon as the trailer hits the internet we will be sure to update you as quickly as possible so all can see it.

As the time for Eclipse draws near more and more Eclipse update will be come available. Unfortunately Summit, David Slade, and our favorite Twilight Saga actors and actresses are keeping a tight lip. However, stay tuned often so that you don't miss anything with the dam of Eclipse updates breaks!

Now would be the time to read for the first time, or re-read for the millionth time, the book itself! As the movie release gets closer TwilightBlog is planning on hosting a read through of the book and familiarity of the book will make this so much more fun for all and encourage participation. Also, if you have the action packed (in the numerous of facets) Eclipse running through your head the next couple of weeks, then you will be prepared to accurately discern amongst all the new Eclipse updates and therefore be able to know what to expect from the movie.

Kristen Stewart Reminisces About First 'Twilight' Interview

That was the first time you asked me about ‘Twilight’!” Kristen smiled when we caught up last week at the “Handkerchief” junket. “I remember the interview! … You were like ‘So, what’s up with this [movie]?’ ”

Actually, she brought up the film. “The movie is called ‘Twilight,’ ” she said during that January 2008 encounter. “Catherine Hardwicke is directing it in Washington. It’s based on a book that’s pretty popular [among] young adult, high school kids.

“The main character is, like, superhuman,” she said of Edward Cullen. “He’s a vampire, but with really [heightened powers]. He can run faster than a car can drive, and he’s super strong.”
At that point, Stewart added that she would be co-starring with some British actor named Robert Pattinson.

“Was Rob cast? I guess I don’t remember,” she explained. “That’s so weird.”

The result was the first time Kristen had ever spoken in public about the “Twilight” films, and when we ran a Movies Blog item a bit later, the MTV News team was shocked by the post’s record-setting traffic.

That, in turn, gave birth to “Twilight” Tuesdays, the cast’s appearances at the MTV Movie Awards, the media picking up on the phenomenon later that year and — well, you know the rest of the story.

Of course, at the time, KStew also got herself in a bit of hot water, saying, “He throws me over his back [in one scene], right before he’s going to tell me that he’s a vampire, and then he runs over the treetops. And we’re going to be in real treetops; we’re not just going to CGI it. We actually get to go up there, and that’s what I’m stoked on.”
