Breaking Dawn Pics Leaked! Sneaky Sneaky!

Twitter has officially blown up due to the recent leak of Breaking Dawn set pics. Users everywhere are posting these steamy hot photos of Edward and Bella. Apparently some brave soul decided to go behind Summit's back and throw us the bone we have all been waiting for.

The pics range from very intimate moments...ahem...headboard thrashing...to tender moments of the two of them together and in love. There was even very recently a pic that was released of Rob holding a blood covered baby. A little yuck but a very tender moment.

The biggest spoiler of them all was the pics of Bella as a vampire! Kristen is absolutely gorgeous! The hottest vampire to date...no question about it! Although I will admit, I was kind of hoping not to see that until I saw the movie, but I'm definitely not complaining.

I am not going to post these pictures because rest assured, sometime by tomorrow it will be almost impossible to find them once Summit starts taking action. When and if they become official, I will be more than happy to post, but until then...let's just say I hope you got to see them and if you didn't....the movie looks like it is going to be PHENOMENAL! And exceptionally hard to make this steamy flick PG-13 ;)

Rob Pattinson disses Twilight?

Happy Thursday Twi-Hearts!

You can imagine my astonishment as I was scrolling through Twilight headlines this morning and came across: "Robert Pattinson disses Twilight in new interview!".

According to Hollywood Life: "R-Patz says he didn’t like the script of the first film!"

It seems like our Edward Cullen, wasn’t a fan of the Twilight movie that started his career! Before you all gasp in horror--I was able to notice that this was BEFORE he even turned on the Cullen charm, Twis.

In an interview with Italian Vanity Fair Rob, says he didn’t understand the appeal of the vampire series when he auditioned for the part! Enter the sighs of relief here. I knew all was right with my world yet.

“When I first read [the Twilight script], it didn’t appeal to me,” Rob says. “I couldn’t understand what was so special and why everybody was so into it.”

That was then, this is now. A relatively unknown story, except for Twilight book readers,up until the movies--it's no wonder that he didn't understand the appeal of our favorite vampire and his human lover.

Add to that his sky-rocket trip to fame, and his place into the millions of devoted fans' hearts, and I'm sure Rob now can totally understand why Twilight is so special!

Taking It Back To The Pages: Breaking Dawn Re-Read Chapter 35&36

*Sorry it took so long guys...a lot is going on in real life, but we are almost done...Only 3 more chapters! My next post will be the last three chapters! I wanted to say I have really enjoyed all of the comments and the great friends I have made from this project! Love you all...you are awesome!*

Bella: Chapter 35 Deadline

"Edward and I had not had a last grand scene of farewell, nor did I plan one. To
speak the word was to make it final. It would be the same as typing the words The End on the last page of a manuscript." - Bella Cullen

Bella has hired J. Jenks to forge legal documents for Renesmee and Jacob, at Alice's request. The battle is coming and she has to be ready. She has to make sure that her daughter is safe and her best friend is there to be able to take care of her.

Edward, or anyone else for that matter, knows about Bella's transaction with Jenks, so when it is time to get her documents she has to lie to Edward and tell him she is running some errands. Bella hates lying to him but she knows it is necessary. The only thing is...Alice really never told her why it was necessary to keep it a secret.

Bella goes to Seattle to meet with Jenks at a restaurant to pick up her documents. He asks her if she is the one that Edward married and she informs him that she is. He expresses how happy he is for Edward to have finally found love. He shows concern about why Bella was wanting these forged items. He was afraid she was planning on leaving Edward and running away with the child. How precious, a criminal with a conscious.

In true Cullen fashion...Bella drives home with the gas pedal to the floor and the lights out. When she arrives, all of the cars are gone. The nomad vamps have all gone out of town to hunt and the rest of the Cullen family were out hunting as well. Bella has the house to herself so she goes through Alice's room and finds a handbag to place all of the forged paperwork for Renesmee.

This moves Bella's mind to think about Jake and Nessie's future. Alice must have seen that the two of them survive, but would she meet back up with them? Would she be in Nessie's life? Bella did the only thing she knew to do and that was to think of RIO DE JANEIRO and hope that Alice was not too busy to listen.

Bella was preparing for the end. The end of her 2nd life that was so short lived. The end of her and Edward. They had to plans to make it a huge good-bye scene, because that would be making it final and she did not want to look at it that way. No matter what the outcome of this mess would be...it would find them together. Always.

The snow had begun to fall on the ground and the time was nearing. Everyone was preparing to meet the Volturi in hopes that being a witness would be enough to stop them long enough to listen. Bella spent some time with her daughter alone, telling her that when the time come she was going to have to leave her and go with Jacob. She told her that she may not understand now but she would.

While she was gathering Renesmee's things, Bella notices the wedding gift from Aro on the shelf. She decides to put on the necklace. Maybe this would start things on a chummy note. It couldn't hurt right?

It was time. Everyone took there positions. Bella stood behind the front line ready to protect the most valuable members with her shield. The wolves were in place ready to take action and Jacob's presence calmed her. Bella felt a sense of relief as well. As long as Jacob was near by, Renesmee would always be safe.

They all stood in position waiting. Suddenly a growl came through Edward's clenched teeth. He stared off into the forest. The others stared in the same position. Waiting...

Chapter 36 Bloodlust

" I could taste madness on my tongue—I felt it flow through me like a tidal wave of pure power." - Bella Cullen

The time has come. The Volturi, including the wives and the guard, came gracefully sweeping through the forest. They fell into place so at ease and confident. Would this be the end?

There was no emotion that could be read on their faces. There was no hurry to get the ball rolling. They were slow and deliberate. They moved with ease and confidence. Almost as if it were inevitable that things would end in their favor.

There were 32 of them and 19 of the Cullens (and friends). This was an impossible battle. But that wasn't all. As soon as the entire Volturi had gotten into position, a mass of vampires came from the forest into the clearing to stand behind them. An angry mob of sorts, prepared to fight for so-called justice.

A thousand thoughts rushed through Bella's head. There were so many of them. Even if they were able to take out Demetri, Jacob could never escape this. She started feeling defeated in a sense. Bella knew that once the Volturi killed them all, their entire world would be made to believe that it was done in the name of the law, rather than fear and jealousy. Jealousy because Carlisle's coven had things they wanted and could never have.

Edward began to assess the situation. He told everyone that Caius and Aro have no intentions of hearing anything out. They came to destroy and conquer. Once they finally got into position, Bella notice the sound of beating hearts. The wolves have joined them. There were more than ten and there were some she did not recognize. She felt guilty that Sam had allowed children to be in the line of battle, but it was necessary. If the Volturi found out about one, they would destroy them all.

The thought of the wolves entire existence being destroyed infuriated Bella. She wanted to kill every one of them. She let a fierce snarl escape from her mouth. Edward cautioned her by taking her hand. Although she was seeing red, it did not effect the Volturi at all. Caius and Aro were having a conversation through Caius' thoughts but still not effected.

Edward began reading the thoughts of the ancient vampires. He was giving everyone a play by play explaining how they were trying to think of a course of action. They have never been outnumbered before. They were not sure how to approach it.

Aro has the nerve to come off as offended that the Cullen's would bring such an amount of back up to fight with them if necessary. Carlisle explains that they were there to simply witness. He requests to speak with Edward. Meanwhile, Bella is raging mad and as a result her shield is becoming stronger as she pulls it around Edward.

She lifts her shield long enough for Aro to grab his hand to see what he has seen. This made her even more angry. She hated the idea of sharing her very personal moments with a man she hates. She was prepared to shield Edward as soon as she saw a sign of danger.

Aro is now in a tough spot. He now knows that Renesmee is not immortal, that she shares the qualities of both vampire and human. Caius is appalled by his behavior and is ready to destroy the whole lot of them, but Aro knows if they want to remain respected they must hear them out for they have not broken any laws, even though he has no real intentions of sparing their lives.
***************************************************************

HELLO Mama Bella! She is so fierce in these last few chapters. She is ready to take some Volturi dudes on. Being a mother has turned her into a raging machine. I LOVE IT! When rage is channeled from love...its always intense.

Jenks is a nice addition to the story. Great example of how vampires should be respected. How funny would it be if in real life there were emo vamps running around your town and you made fun of them or pissed them off then they just snapped your neck? INSANE! Jenks knew better...Jasper put the fear of God into him. Wish we could have had some back story to that. I think I have said this before but I would enjoy seeing more of the naughty side of all of the vampires.

I am going to be the first to admit when I read the part (even the 4th time) where Bella was trying to contact Alice to meet up with Renesmee and Jake and she was gathering their things...I lost it. It is so depressing and I feel so sorry for her. She is preparing to die and there is nothing pretty about it. Then the talk of her and Edward dying together and always being together no matter what...too sad, but poetic in a way. My heart was breaking for her the whole time.

So the moment we all waited for...the battle. I have this pictured in my head of a bunch of pasty dudes just staring each other down with a random growl or snarl here and there. The whole battle is fought in their minds and nothing physical happens...total let down, but I will say that I hear the movie will be a bit different. There will be a little action...maybe a dream sequence or something who knows. I want to see Bella whip some tail though. :)

Edward, to me, is too laid back about all of this. Where is the burning man that he was when he thought he was going to lose her before? Do you guys think that he knew what was going to happen? Maybe he could hear Alice's thoughts from far away but never said anything. What do you think? He was much to calm and collected...not very Edward.

This will be an amazing part in the movie. It is such a huge amount of the cast in one place. Kristen will really have her hands full pulling this off. She has to pretty much act out the whole scene with nothing but her face. Wonder how they will pull that off? Will they have some sort of inner monologue? Who knows, but it will be challenging to play either way.

Maybe one of my favorite parts of these two chapters is how stunned Aro was by the presence of the wolves. It was so gratifying to know that the Cullens had one up on the ancient vampires...you just know the whole time he is shouting in his head and wanting to stomp his feet
and throw a tantrum because the wolves don't want to play nice with him. Wish Sam would have ripped Aro's head off. Weird question...but when wolves have to go potty do they cock their legs like dogs? I know, I know...left field, but I was just wondering.

So who would you like to see do battle? Were you disappointed at the battle of the minds vs a physical one? Did your heart break for Bella when she was preparing Renesmee for a send off with Jake? Do you think Edward had an idea that Alice was on the way to save them all or was he just at peace because he knew that if Bella died, he would be with her? Do you think Edward and Bella have the most epic love story of all time? Who would you compare it to?

Taylor LIVES! New Fan Pic w/Our Favorite Wolf Boy

Taylor has finally come out to play! Where you been hiding little buddy? Even I have missed you're adorable wolfie face :) One lucky fan got to snap a pic with Taylor while he was in Squamish for filming of Breaking Dawn. He is always so lovely to the fans...all the fans. Even the moms.

This Is Exactly How Catherine Pictured the Meadow Scene...

Obviously Ms. Hardwicke has joined ranks with the thousands of people who are totally crazy about Rob and Kristen. She just can't seem to go anywhere without them! I saw these photos on Gossip Dance and thought they were insanely adorable and had to share.

Catherine set the ground work for what is one of the biggest things to happen in entertainment history! She has made it no secret that she thoroughly enjoyed working with these two bright young actors. She has also made comments about loving to work with them again, should the right project arise.

I loved the chemistry she had with the cast. She is a very organic director and gets her hands dirty. Extremely out of the box as well. I would love to just sit down and have a conversation with her...she seems so interesting. I think it would be really hard for her to get the two of them together in a film again, but if she ever did...I'd be first in line.

And Let the Promo Start...1st Breaking Dawn Poster

Collider.com posted the very first promo poster for Breaking Dawn: Part 1. Ok, so maybe it isn't the most exciting picture ever...but its only the beginning. The film is set to release on November 18th so just think of all the goodness we have yet to see!

Hopefully the new promo shots of the cast will be out soon. Summit really needs to throw us a bone...a tiny one...anything :) Everything with this film has been so hush hush and its killing me! November is just too far away.

Ashley Greene on the cover of Glamour Magazine

Happy Tuesday Twi-Hearts!

It seems like our Alice Cullen, a.k.a. Ashley Greene, has been one of the most talked about Twilight stars in the media as of late. What with her break up from Joe Jonas, and the buzz of who is her next BF from the likes of Chris Evans and Jared Followill to pick from.

Today, the headlines are reading: "Ashley Greene calls Ex-BF Joe Jonas a 'Superstud'".

That's right, Twi-Hearts. And while our curiosity may get peaked at thought of a post-break up interview, I will tell you now--it was pre-breakup.

Ashley looks stunning and like a total pro in her floral-print retro bikini and tie sweater on the cover of Glamour Magazine's latest issue—she did start her career as a model, after all! Inside the issue, Ash dishes about her career, her charity work and boyfriend Joe Jonas (yes, her interview was conducted before their break up, see.).

Ashley confessed that she still feels unsure about her acting abilities sometimes--even with the success of the Twilight Franchise. "I still am extremely green in some ways," she admitted. "And so each time I work on a character it is very exciting, very scary." Then there's always the problem of typecasting. "It is difficult because people look at you as the character," she added.

When not calling up the future as our pixie-propehtic vampire Alice Cullen, Ashley likes to give back. "I work with a charity called Donate My Dress. It’s got chapters all over the country where you can donate special-occasion dresses. Prom is a big deal when you’re 15 years old, and it enables girls who don’t have the money to come in and choose something special."

And finally, in a bit of awkward timing, Glamour's issue went to press five days after she parted ways with musician beau Joe Jonas. When prompted about her then-BF, she replied, "Superstud." That’s right. "If you’re going to be with someone all the time, they need to be your best friend," Ashley added.

Good luck to you, Ash, as you navigate the waters for your new " best friend"!

Meet Rob's New Wife: Cosmopolis Co-Star Announced

Happy "Manic" Monday, Twi-Hearts!

Not long ago I shared a bit of news of Robert Pattinson's upcoming movie projects...Among them was the movie "Cosmopolis". Rob will star as finance wunderkind Eric Packer, whose risky decision-making lands him in the cross-hairs of an assassin's rifle.

Avoiding being 'gunned down' by an assassin aside, Eric must also deal with an estranged wife—a role initially filled by Marion Cotillard. When Marion dropped out of the film, Keira Knightley was rumored to have taken her place, which is when I covered the story, but alas it was only wishful thinking.

So which lucky lady will wear (and possibly remove) Rob's ring, aside from our Kristen Stewart in the Twilight Saga? Well, watch out, Kristen--her name is Sarah Gadon.

The 23-year-old Toronto native most recently worked with "Cosmopolis" director David Cronenberg in his "A Dangerous Method" and has a slew of TV credits to her name including the SOAP Net series "Being Erica" and ABC's "Happy Town."

Don't they make quite the striking duo? Good luck to you, Sarah. Prepare to be the envy of girls worldwide.

"Cosmopolis" is set for a 2012 release.

Alice Cullen meet Captain America

Happy Friday Twi-Hearts!

Last Friday brought the news of our Alice Cullen, a.k.a. Ashley Green, and her former teen heartthrob BF, Joe Jonas, calling it quits.

This week I bring you: Ashley, single and ready to mingle...for real.

In a world that loves a good drama, if Ashley was trying make her ex-boyfriend Joe jealous, she is certainly doing a good job.

After being spotted out with Kings Of Leon bassist Jared Followill on St. Patrick's Day last week, our Alice has once again stepped out with another famous and deliciously yummy male companion.

This time it was Captain America star, Chris Evans.

According to E! Online, the actress enjoyed her new-found single status as she flirted and danced with Captain America all night. Ashley was said to have been "all over Chris, and he certainly didn't mind," a source told the website.

"They were dancing together very closely. It looked like they had a lot of sexual chemistry. Ashley is newly single. She's hot. Of course she's going to be out having fun.'

Not one to choose her guys over her friends though, Ashley also kept close with a female friend and good friend Dickey Doo. Apparently this Dickey is a friend of the Twilight cast and is Kellan Lutz’s room-mate.

Ashley looked stunning with her hair recently refreshed in a brilliant red hue. New look for a new chapter? It suits you, Ashley. You're lovely, you're sweet, and you're young. Rock on.

Ashley Greene...the Next David Tutera?

Ashley Greene is no stranger to the Twitter world (unlike some of our fav Twi cast). The super social star took some time out to answer some fan questions on Twitter. Of course she was asked what her favorite part of Breaking Dawn was and she replied with...

"I like the part where Alice is planning the wedding with Bella. I love to plan parties and I collaborated on my dress!"
Ashley also talked about her similarities with Alice.
"The biggest reason is the intense love she has for her family and the second is her love of all things fashion"
It seems the two have a lot in common. Well with the exception of the whole future reading thing I'm sure, but how awesome would it be if they both shared the same passion for Jackson :) Hey, a girl can dream!

Twitter has become a good source of info for all things Breaking Dawn! The cast are really into it and often tweet so fans will have a heads up on what is going on behind the scenes, which rocks since everything is so hush hush. New Moon director, Chris Weitz, is a frequent Twatter (in the words of Kristen) and answers tons of fan questions about everything Twilight. If you aren't on Twitter, you should check it out and ask away.

Taking It Back To The Pages: Breaking Dawn Re-Read Chapter 33&34

Bella: Chapter 33 Forgery

"But there were different ways to prepare for what was coming, and with only two weeks left, I worried that I might be neglecting the most important. Today I
would rectify that oversight." - Bella Swan

Everyone has gathered and preparations are being made for the Volturi's arrival. There is one last thing to take care of. Bella needs to pay J.Jenks a visit per Alice's instructions. She just isn't really sure why she should.

She decides that she has neglected Charlie long enough from Renesmee but she also needs him as an alibi. So she takes Renesmee and Jake and visits Charlie and dismisses herself to "go Christmas shopping." Jake knew something was up but Bella could not tell him in fear that Edward would read his mind.

She sets off on her journey and notices that her newly acquired vampire senses have made driving a lot less stressful for her. She finally gets to the address Alice gave her, which ends up being in a bad part of town. She sees a man and starts asking if he is J.Jenks and he informs her that he isn't. He also tells her she doesn't look like the usual customer. Of course she didn't, she didn't even know why she was seeing him.

The engage in some conversation and he is trying to fill her out and figure out why she came to the straight up ghetto instead of his fancy office. The man calls J and describes Bella and then tells him that she is a Cullen. He immediately freaked out and started yelling at Max for not telling him earlier. J wants to see Bella.

Bella wasn't sure what to expect from Mr. Jenks. When Bella arrives a secretary asks her if she has an appointment and as she tells her no, she hears a man say there is a Mrs. Cullen coming to let her in as soon as she arrives. So Bella realizes that she is top priority but she still doesn't understand why.

Bella begins to talk to a terrified J and he asks her what she needs and thanks to the thug on the street, she knew she must need some kind of papers. It was when J began asking what kind of papers she needed, that Bella realized this was Alice's gift to her. A way to save Renesmee and keep her safe.

Alice knew that Renesmee would need forged documents if she were running and the only reason she would be running is if they lost. The hope Bella once had for defeating the Volturi disappeared. She was now almost positive they had no chance at winning, but even if there wasn't any hope for the rest of them...Renesmee would have a shot. So she put in for 2 passports, 2 birth certificates and one license for Jake and Renesmee.

Bella forks over the cash and agrees to meet with Jenks at a restaurant the next week to pick up her documents. Bella could sense some worry with Jenks but she couldn't put her finger on it. She really wished she had Edward there to read his mind. She hated keeping secrets from him, but this time it was necessary.

Chapter 34 Declared

"I heard the music before I was out of the car. Edward hadn’t touched his piano
since the night Alice left. Now, as I shut the car door, I heard the song morph through a bridge and change into my lullaby. Edward was welcoming me home." - Bella Swan

Bella has spent the afternoon working on setting things up for Jake and Renesmee when things go badly against the Volturi. When she arrives home, Edward is playing for her. The first time he has touched his piano since Alice's departure. It made her heart ache. She knew she didn't have too much time with him. Her heart was breaking.

She showed Edward the gift she purchased for Renesmee. She bought her a gold locket from an antique store that had an inscription that was in French that meant "more than my own life." It seemed fitting.

Edward was ready to head back to their cottage but Bella was ready to get some practice in with Emmett but Edward demanded she wait until tomorrow. Judging by his tone, she didn't bother questioning him. It was difficult for her to attempt to get into a routine when the situation rested where it did.

She tried to be positive. She knew that no matter the outcome, Renesmee would be safe and Jake would survive. The world would move forward, just the Cullens would not. Her and Edward would not. They could not exist without the other.

They spent Christmas with Charlie, Sue and the rest of the pack. Renesmee loved her gifts and they were trying to be as normal as possible. The wolves were chomping at the bit to get in on this HUGE fight. Bella thought it was just a death wish for all of them, but there was no swaying them.

When they return to the Cullen house, Edward senses something is wrong. Alistair has left. Amun is arguing with Carlisle that he is sentencing his whole coven to death. Carlisle tried to reason with him and explain that he did not believe it would come to a fight but if it did he could always side with the Volturi and he would never hold any ill will toward him. Amun believes this will be the only way for their survival.

Alistair left in fear. He feared that the Volturi would not even begin to listen to any witnesses and they would finish what the sought out to do. Of course this excited the Romanians because they knew that if it did come to a fight that word would spread fast on the kind of "law" the Volturi were living for. At that moment, everyone decided if it came to a fight, they would stand next to Carlisle and his family. Even if it meant death.

Later on during their hunting trip, Bella had a thought. She had this amazing power to protect but what if she failed. What if she let everyone down? She thought her shield had holes in it since Renesmee was allowed to go into her head. Edward tried to ease her fears by explaining that no expected her to protect everyone.

Edward had a theory that maybe Renesmee does exactly opposite of what Bella does. Instead of keeping everyone out...everyone let's her in. Would Renesmee's talent be enough to stop Aro? He would be faced with the truth but would he uphold the law or ignore it for his benefit?
*****************************************************************

Drama! Drama! Drama! Sneaky Bella is pretty awesome I must say. I like that she finally has one up on everyone. She is ahead of the game and has to be the BEST secret keeper on the planet. Alice gave her instructions and her motherly instinct knew that she had to keep this to herself to save her child. Its so amazing to me how she went from the confused teenager to this awesome mom over night.

J. Jenks seems like some dude you would see in a Godfather movie or something. I love how Jasper obviously scared the crap out of him to where he knows when a Cullen comes through you better deliver or you were the main course for dinner that night. This is actually the part of the Cullen's I wish we got to see more of. I mean seriously, they did not get all of that money without some sort of under handed activity. I would like to see more of their "powers of persuasion." Especially Edward's and Carlisle's. They are such sweet guys, it would be nice to see them be a little deceiving.

I wish there were some way Alice could give Bella a heads up. What I don't get is why couldn't she? Bella's thoughts are private and its obvious she knows how to keep a secret, so why didn't Alice just tell Bella what the plan was all along. Alice could have prepared her for two outcomes if anything, instead of leaving her in the dark. I guess its for the suspense of the book.

We really get a good glimpse as to how respected Carlisle is. His friends are ready to fight for him. Even die. I love how the vampires have such a strong honor system in a way. Their lives are so much different than humans. They stick by their friends and stand up for what the believe in. Its almost like it isn't even a choice but a necessity. Very old world. I love it.

Christmas time at Charlie's was bittersweet for me. Its so nice that everyone gets together but its so disheartening to think this could be the last time. They have this tremendous weight on their shoulders and they may not make it alive. Even the wolves. Not only would Charlie lose his daughter and his grand-child but he would be losing his other family as well. How depressing. It broke my heart that Bella couldn't enjoy this time with her family because all she could think about was losing everything.

Its tragically beautiful and poetic how devoted Edward and Bella are to one another. You jump, I jump type stuff...yeah ok I just used a Titanic line but its true. Where ever one goes the other must follow. If one dies, they both die together. Its sad but its beautiful at the same time. They know their daughter will be protected at all cost and they know they can't live without each other. If I were Bella and I thought I was going to die....I would locking myself in that cottage with Edward. :) Make the best of it while you can.

I think this will be a VERY crucial part of the movie and the tone has to be set perfectly. Bella has to be tormented inside but at the same time has to put on this facade for everyone. Kristen will have to nail this. Its very important. Not only Kristen but everyone...Kristen more so because it is coming from her point of view. I am most looking forward to Mackenzie's acting ability when it comes to being Renesmee. I am not sure how she is going to execute this but I am very confident it will all blend well.

Time for talking! So do you think Bella's plan for Jake to run away with Renesmee is a good idea? Is he enough to protect her? What about Bella and Edward's willingness to succumb to death for another? Emo or Romantic? Is there a such thing as love that so strong that you would willingly die just to keep from being without them? What are your thoughts on Alistair bailing? Smart or Dishonorable? Should Alice have let Bella in on her plans or left things as they were? Should Bella have told Charlie what was coming or left him in the dark? Get to discussing! We only have a few more chapters left.

Ashley Greene is single and ready to mingle!

Happy Friday Twi-Hearts!

Another TGIF dawns, and the weekend begins...with it comes juicy news from our Twilight World.

Just in, and hot off the presses:

Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas's romance has hit twilight indeed. The couple, who had been dating since last summer, have broken up, their reps confirm to PEOPLE.

Ashley a.k.a Alice Cullen, and Joe Jonas, went public with their relationship last fall after dating quietly for a few months. In recent weeks, however, the two, who were never shy about PDA, were spotted – separately – at various L.A. clubs.

Somehow this news is pleasant for me. Nothing against the former couple, it just always seemed an odd pairing to me.

But don't despair for our Ashley, Twi-Hearts, it looks like yesterday on St. Paddy's Day she might've just had a run with luck.

Ashley was spotted celebrating the Luck of the Irish with a new man: Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill.

"Good food. Good friends. Great day," Ashley Tweeted yesterday, with no specific mention of Followill.

Movie Night For Rob & Kristen...

Say what?! Rob and Kristen on an outing? Together?! No it can't be! HA HA! Some insanely lucky fans got to snap a couple of pics with our favorite on-screen (maybe off-screen, depends who you ask) couple. The two of them were seen at a theater in Squamish, BC, where they were recently filming latest Breaking Dawn scenes.

Since the two of them have been so hard at work, they decided to take a little movie break. So obviously they hit up the small town theater to check out Red Riding Hood. Props to them for showing Catherine Hardwicke some love. They were hobo'd out, making it look sexy, like only they can do. Looks like they were just having a relaxing night and even with stories floating all around the net about how they snubbed their fans a couple of days ago, they stopped for pictures. The fans of course gushed about how nice Rob was and of course how awkward Kristen was.

Seriously? The girl can never get a break. She posed for a picture, even though I'm a little disappointed she is hiding in one, what more do you want? Oh well, it is what it is.

Filming is expected to go on through April. Rumors have been circulating that the wedding will be filmed the first week of April so let's hope for tons of info on that!

StephieBear, Devil's Advocate

Hello fellow Twilighters! I am starting a new campaign. In the next month or so, I will be posting controversial discussions on The Twilight Series. The goal is to start discussions with the fans and to get everyone talking. So, please feel free to comment. Remember I am playing devil's advocate, which means I don't necessarily agree, I'm just posting the other point of view. I hope you enjoy!

Below is a catalog of the current topics discussed:

Has "Twilight" Mom Gone Overboard?

I wasn't going to post anymore Devil's Advocate posts, but after an anonymous person posted this on one of my previous posts, I couldn't help myself. The picture above is a mom who is obsessed with The Twilight Series. How much is too much? That is the question today. My question is how does this mom treat her kids? Are they taken care of as much as her Edward posters? What do they think about this?

I really just want to get everyone's opinion in this topic. Twilight Moms have been known ever since the movies came out, but is this much normal?

Jackson Rathbone Is A Trooper

I don't know about you, but if I had cracked my rib while carrying "a bunch of gear" for my band, I would not want to do my own stunts. However Jackson thought otherwise. He tripped over some wires while working with his band and broke his rib. He didn't tell the crew of Breaking Dawn because he wanted to do his own stunts.  “It was painful, but it was worth it.”

“It’s been a fun shoot so far. We’re about halfway through the process . . . It was a lovely time being in Baton Rouge." He also enjoyed having some good ol' home cooking.

“I think each film just keeps getting better and better, you know, with the different slate of directors we’ve had, and now we have the amazing Bill Condon, and he’s been a dream to work with. So, I think this is going to be the best one. There’s some very exciting moments in the film that Melissa Rosenberg our amazing screenwriter and Bill Condon, our wonderful director, kind of put together to kind of showcase the highlights of this film and to bring the book to life.”

Do you have your questions ready? MTV is counting down the days until Rob's big interview Friday on MTV.com, where he will be answering fan questions live! How much fun will that be? Let's just hope that the crazies forget to mark their calendars and Rob isn't inundated with ridiculous questions.

Twilight Stars Evacuated

Happy Friday to my Twi-Hearts!

First, I'd like to start off by sending all of my thoughts and prayers to Japan, Hawaii, and any other region in the world being affected by these Earthquakes and Tsunamis.

Second, as news of these devastating events reach us--even our Twilight Stars are feeling the panic. Unfortunately.

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that the devastating earthquake that hit Japan has forced our Twilight stars to evacuate the Vancouver Island resort town of Tofino.

The filming of Breaking Dawn was halted for fear a tsunami would hit the West Coast of British Columbia. Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were among the stars evacuated.

Our Emily, Tinsel Korey, tweeted Friday: "They're evacuating us 4 a tsumnani [sic] warning. If this … is my last my tweet. I love you. The end. Hugz."

In another tweet, she said: "If this is the moment. Then I've lived a good life. And I'm thankful 4 everything I've been given."

My best to our Twilight stars and, again, everyone affected by these natural disasters.

So Summit....Can A Girl Get A Loan?

I have decided, the next time we go out...drinks on Summit! These guys are projecting mega bucks for Breaking Dawn Part 1 & 2. Of course every American knows to make money, you gotta spend money and Summit has had some deep pockets when it came to budgeting for this film.

Its seems that they have set the budget for $263 MILLION dollars...Yes I said 263! In the beginning budgets were expected to be around $200M but I'm guessing they had to add several million to pay for everyone's wigs and extensions. :) The studio only forked over a measly (I say that lightly) $37 million for the first Twilight and saw HUGE returns by bringing in over $230 million.

So that's a lot of money right? Well these guys are predicting to bring in at least $1.2 BILLION dollars from both films! I guess in the scheme of things, $263 million isn't really that much. It should be illegal to make so much money! How is it possible? Because we are simply the BEST fans on the planet and we made this a phenomenon. I'm wondering where is our cut? Just kidding guys but on a serious note, it's our love for the story that makes this so big. We stand in line just to get pre-sold tickets, then we stand in line for hours just to be seated at the midnight premieres. And as if that weren't dedication...we go back and see the movie at least three times and then wait and wait and pre-order DVDs (all 5 versions) and stock up on everything with Rob, Kristen, and Taylor's face on it. Plain and simple, we are the best.

I think this go around we need to make opening night a record breaking night and help Summit sign those paychecks! Are you guys already planning your Breaking Dawn night in November? Ok, so I'm a nerd...yes I am planning mine already.

Robert Pattinson Gets A Perm

I personally think he looks amazing.  Would I date him?  Probably not.  But... that's beside the point.  Here's a good lookin' man with a good lookin' perm.  What do you think, ladies, is this an improvement?

...Yes this is a joke.  I think.

'Red Riding Hood" Premiere

I thought I would share some pictures from the Los Angeles premiere of Red Riding Hood. Our beloved Catherine Harwicke directed the film and it also features Billy Burke and Nikki Reed was present at the premiere as well.

I'll Take Robert For $1000, Alex...

You know you have made it HUGE when you have your very own Jeopardy question! On the latest episode of the popular game show there was a question about Rob. Embarrassingly so, the guy got his name wrong! What?! Are you a citizen of planet Earth? But that lady swept right in to answer correctly...who wants to be she is a Twi-hard?

It's just a game show question I know, but I have to pose this question...Did you ever believe when you watched (or read for that matter) Twilight for the first time that it would be so huge? Did you believe it would start a movement of sorts and have such an influence on society?

Taking It Back to the Pages: Breaking Dawn Re-Read Chapter 31&32

Bella: Chapter 31 Talented

“A mind reader for a father, a shield for a mother, and then whatever magic this extraordinary child has bewitched us with..." - Eleazar

The Cullens are on the prowl for witnesses. Anything to give their family a fighting chance. Renesmee has already convinced the entire Denali clan to witness and not just witness but to do battle, if needed. They instantly fell in love with her.

As the shock wears off and everyone seems to settle in, Eleazar takes notice of the wonderful talents the new Cullen family have. Even Bella. This comes to a shock to Edward because no one had realized that Bella had any sort of talent. She thought she was just as ordinary as a vampire as she was a human, but just as she was so much more than ordinary as a human, she was even greater as a vampire.

Eleazar shared with everyone that Bella's gift was a shield. She could block people with her mind. He took note that if she could even block as a human, her power as a vampire would be much greater. Eleazar was in disbelief that Bella had this amazing power and was using it subconsciously and knew nothing of it.

He began questioning Bella to see if she has ever tested her talents. She explained that her head was her private place and when she didn't want someone to know what was going on in it she protected it. Her brain is on that different frequency remember?

Edward and Eleazar begin to discuss the possibilities and began to compare Bella to Renata, Aro's personal bodyguard. Eleazar explains how she protects against physical damage and never leaves Aro's side.

Kate begins asking Bella if she has ever projected and of course Bella is confused because she just realized she had this power, but Kate wanted to know if she had ever tried to protect someone other than herself. This is when Bella finds out that Kate is talented in the way Jane is, although she isn't demented about it.

Bella's brain goes into overdrive and she has finally found a glimmer of hope that maybe she could protect her family. She immediately began to beg Kate to teach her how. So wrapped up into learning how to save her family Bella misses the exchange between Edward and Eleazar. Edward was reading his mind and they began having a conversation that no one gets until Edward explains.

Eleazar was recalling how Aro would only attend executions when the coven being punished had something or someone he wanted. When he found something he wanted, he would find any reason to claim the coven has broken the law so he could execute the ones that meant nothing to him and offer a pardon to the ones who did. The talented ones. He built his army this way.

Eleazar explained how Chelsea was necessary for the Volturi because she had influence over the emotional ties between people. She could sort out the ones who were guilty and the ones who were innocent and this would keep punishment from reaching such brutality. The guilty would be punished and the innocent would be spared. He explained that her power was strong and that any relationship other than partners was in danger. But he strongly believed that should would have a hard time breaking the bond between all of them.

The conclusion was made that Aro is bringing himself and the entire guard and the wives because he is coming to collect, not to punish. He wants the Cullen talents, especially Edward & Alice and soon Bella. Edward says he would never willingly go but Eleazar points out that Aro knows Edward's weaknesses...Bella.

In the midst of discussion Bella hears tires turning into the driveway. She panics and tells Edward it must be Charlie and that the Denalis need to go upstairs. But it isn't Charlie. Alice and Jasper have sent Peter and Charlotte. Round Two.

Chapter 32 Company

"Edward answer unspoken questions, watched Benjamin pull geysers of water from the river or sharp gusts of wind from the still air with just his mind, and their eyes glowed with their fierce hope that the Volturi had finally met their match." - Bella Cullen

The Cullen mansion was buzzing with guests as people began flooding the house. All prepared to witness for the Cullens and to stand with them when the Volturi wrongfully attacked. Edward was a very good host by lending out cars whenever someone needed them and offering whatever he could to make the situation more comfortable.

Jake and the wolves were on edge. They knew that right outside their border some innocent human was being murdered so a hungry vampire could live. But all things aside, Jacob knew this was crucial to protect Renesmee so she tolerated the vamps just as they did him.

Renesmee was key. She replayed for everyone how she proved to the Denali clan she was harmless and she was different. She won Peter and Charlotte over so easily. They were just as committed to witnessing as the Denali group was.

Siobhan, Liam, and Maggie were friends of Carlisle's that he had sent from Ireland. Maggie possessed the gift of knowing when she was being lied to. Once Edward told the story, all Maggie had to do was confirm and the Irish were in without even touching Renesmee.

The Egyptians Amun, Benjamin and Tia were next. Even though sweet Renesmee had cast her adorable spell upon Benjamin and Tia, Amun was not so easily convinced to touch the strange child. Benjamin finally coaxed him into staying but he refused to touch the child.

Eleazar picks up on Benjamin's talent that Amun is so determined to keep hidden from Aro. He can influence the elements-earth, wind, water, and fire. This was such a rare talent and Amun wanted to keep him protected.

Next in the line up was Garret. This was one of Carlisle's more adventurous friends that Emmett and Rose tracked down. He seemed to make quick friends with the Denali ladies. Mary and Randal also came and decided to be a witness but they all wondered what they would do if it came down to a battle.

Carlisle, Esme, Rose, and Emmett all return a week after they had left. Carlisle returned with another friend, Alistair. Alistair was strange and distance but considered Carlisle to be one of his closest friends. He kept his distance but he showed up. He was on the run from the Volturi and he knew there was no keeping it from Aro now that he was around.

Then the Amazons, Zafrina and Senna, show up. This was unexpected because no one could get in contact with them. When they arrived they explained that Alice had sent them and advised them to separate from their third friend because she needed them there. So Alice was in South America. But why?

Alice was on a mission and Bella found this oddly comforting knowing that she had a plan and that she had not just abandon them to save herself. There was a purpose for everything she had done but it was just so frustrating not knowing what it is.

Renesmee took with Zafrina right away. She was addicted to her talent. Zafrina could impose illusions and pictures in her head. This was a very strong offensive skill but Renesmee was using it for pleasure.

Meanwhile, Bella was getting Cullenized and learning to fight like a Cullen. Edward attempted to teach her but he failed horribly. He pinned her within two seconds but instead of letting her fight her way up he just jumped back and explained he couldn't teach her. It was too real for him. He encouraged her to ask Emmett or Rosalie but that she wouldn't need to fight anyway because the Volturi would hear them out. Everyone pitched in and took a shot at Bella.

Physical training was necessary but learning to use her shield was much more important. Bella was working with Kate on trying to project her shield. Edward played the test dummy, taking shock after shock from Kate while Bella tried to expand her shield around him. She would have it and then it would snap back just like a rubber band.

Finally Kate pushes Bella too far by bringing Renesmee in the mix. Bella pushed her shield around everyone out of anger and fear of someone trying to hurt her baby. She was so powerful but yet even though Edward was in the bubble, he still couldn't hear her thoughts. Drat.

While practicing a new set of visitors arrive. The Romanians, Stefan and Vladimir have come to fight with Cullens. No one has sent for them. They come on their own. They despise the Volturi and all they stand for.

Morale was finally up a few notches. Next to the Volturi, this was the largest gathering of vampires. They had so much talent balled into one. But would it be enough?
****************************************************************

Oh My Vampire! There are WAY too many new characters in these chapters. My spell checker was going berserk with all of these crazy vampire names! There is just so much information going on. I seriously needed that vampire guide Stephenie laid out for us in the end. All that aside, I love the allegiance they all have with each other. They know standing up to the Volturi could mean their life but they are willing to do that to do the right thing. Man, maybe these vamps could teach the human race a thing or two.

Bella's gifted! And not in that nerdy way either. This talent makes her hands down the most bad ass vampire that has ever walked on two feet. Who knew that messed up little mind of hers would be saving the entire coven in the end? But what about her control of her thirst? Do you think that was just luck and preparation or another gift? One thing I wonder...did Alice know that Bella would be gifted? And in turn did Aro know?

Taking from the book a little, I have to say I am more than excited with Summit's casting decisions on all of these newcomer vamps and cannot wait to see them all together. Especially Kate and Zafrina...they are my favorites. I also cannot wait to see Garret utilize his talents.

Awww poor Edward's heart is too big to take his woman down. Could you even imagine how hard it was for him to utilize her as a target? Honestly, she should have known better than to ask that of him. The man had a hard time watching her hunt...did she seriously think he could attempt to fight her? Although I'm looking forward to seeing him try.

This last chapter gives me hope, just like it does everyone in it. Alice has a plan. You know she is got something up her sleeve and look at all of the gifted people they have in their corner. With the practice and participation from everyone and a lot of luck...they could do this.

And we can't forget about poor Jake who has to endure the stinky vamp smell just to be close to Renesmee. I think its kind of sweet in that weird I'm not sure I'm ok with Jake imprinting on a baby way. I also love the wolves since of comradeship. They are in it to win it and will do whatever is necessary to protect Jake and Nessie, even if it means getting ripped to shreds. Stupid, but sweet.

The Romanians freak me out a bit but I will say I think they are necessary to the story. They bring something totally different to the table. They don't fear the Volturi, they loathe them. They have no respect for them unlike everyone else. They are there to fight, witness or not.

Lastly, I am so amazed that Carlisle has so many friends willing to come to bat for him. This just proves what a great man he is. I guess mostly these "friends" know if they ever needed him for the same thing he would be there no questions asked...ya know for soulless creatures they sure are loyal.

So what do you guys think about the introduction of all of the new characters? Who is your favorite? Did you think Bella would be so gifted and that the frail little human you met in Twilight would be the one to save the Cullen coven? Did you feel more at ease when you found out Alice sent the Amazons? Should Edward suck it up and teach his woman to throw down or was he justified in refusing? Are you anxious to see Kristen act out Bella's gift? Anything else you want to add in there feel free!

In True Twilight Fashion....

Twi fans flocked to The Official Twilight Convention, so jealous by the way, to feed the obsession that is Twilight. Pictures have been surfacing all weekend from the convention. Fans have been tweeting unofficial photos of costumes for Edward, Bella, and Jacob.

It has been said that the costumes on display at the convention will be used in Breaking Dawn, specifically the hunting scene. Of course nothing is official or has been confirmed but fans seem to be pretty confident these are recent pieces.

Looks like poor Rob will have to endure yet another gray coat…thank goodness its not the dreaded PEACOAT! Kristen will look super hot in those leggings and even I will say that I wouldn’t mind seeing Taylor in that stylish ensemble.

C’mon Summit! We need more! Throw us a bone…we deserve it!

Four Perfectly Valid Reasons To Hate The Twilight Franchise: A Response

One article on TwilightBlog that has gotten quite a bit of criticism (and support by some) is something Stefania G wrote a few months back as an opinion piece.  It is entitled "Four Perfectly Valid Reasons To Hate The Twilight Franchise" and if you haven't read it yet (or commented) I definitely recommend heading over there and seeing what it's all about.  She has read the comments, and has this to say in reply:

I appreciate that so many people have bothered to read my article on four reasons to hate Twilight. Due to the amount of uproar and confusion witnessed in the comments I feel I ought to clarify a few things. Firstly, many readers seem to misunderstand the fact that I am quite seriously a fan of Twilight. Though I may find things wrong with the books and movies I do enjoy them and am proud to be a fan of the series. My goal in writing that article was to illuminate and acknowledge some aspects of Twilight-dom that are unappealing, even to a fan, in opposition to all the hate-filled diatribes from those who do not appreciate Twilight – or perhaps worse still, sickeningly sweet words of adoration for the series that do not acknowledge any of its faults. Further, the article was originally written for a completely different blog, so that may account for some of the lack of ability to translate to the readers of TWILIGHTBLOG.NET.

As for the matter of whether “haters” counts as a reason to hate the Twilight franchise, I have this to say: “For the child is father of the man” (Wordsworth). While my statement (and that quote) may originally seem confusing they both come down to the same point: you cannot have one without the other. Without Twilight, and the hysteria it produces, there would be no haters. I don’t simply mean people who dislike Twilight or are indifferent to it, I mean the fact that there is an entire counter-culture to Twilight fans. Not many things can prove to be such a unifying force for people to aim their snark towards. I would have to say Twilight is somewhere between George W. Bush and Justin Beiber. I thought that was an interesting phenomenon and worth commenting on.

Lastly, and most importantly, I feel that most readers have missed the tongue-in-cheek tone of my article. By naming myself a fan in the very first line, and then in very clear language admitting I was being “obnoxious” and “self-righteous” by calling myself a “real fan,” I was hoping it was clear that I was making just as much fun of myself as I was anyone else. Whether or not you can identify with any of the groups in Twilight culture does not make a difference to your legitimacy as a fan. I am a mom. I am still in my twenties. I could easily be a Twi-hard, Twi-mom, or even a hater…or all of them. But at the end of the day, the point is that I do enjoy Twilight, and if you are reading this, then I am happy to say that apparently you do as well.

Rob's Vanity Fair Interview: Good or Disappointing?

First of all let's talk about the picture...I never thought there would come a day when I would find a picture of Robert Pattinson that did not make me drool. What in the world kind of cover is this? Its like a cross between Crocodile Hunter meets man from the Mayflower. All props aside, the man is completely gorgeous and somehow manages to even make that cover look better.

Looks are lovely, but a man's word is worth so much more and for once I will say I was stuck between feeling incredibly sorry for him and extremely disappointed at the same time. We all know what these actors go through. Its hard. Their lives aren't really theirs to have. Everyone watches every move they make and just waits for them to screw up or do something news worthy and then when they can't get that, they just make up incredible rumors to sell stories. But at the end of the day, they chose this profession and this is just a part of it.

Rob makes it no secret in his latest interview with Vanity fair that the Twi-world is just a franchise he has to please and he is more than ready for it to be over. He finds the fans "quite strange" and the papz are the biggest issue, but what I found amazing was how he could speak so negatively about a franchise that gave him the opportunity to do movies like Remember Me and Water for Elephants. This franchise, that seems to be nothing but a daunting curse to Mr. Pattinson, has set the groundwork for the rest of his career.

Yes, the fans are intense, some really intense, but they are who keep you employed. If no one cared who he was, he would still be making small movies and wondering if he was going to have a job next month. So, I am torn as to whether we should feel compassion for him or feel resentment for his obvious lack of interest in what this entire fandom has given him.

So tell me what do you think? Do you think this interview was a kick in the face to the dedicated fans all over the world or do you feel compassion for his "situation?" Or do you think this was the interviewer's way of manipulating Rob's words and making it sound a lot worse than he actually meant it? Honestly, I do not really have an opinion at this point. I was shocked that he was so candid and forth right about his feelings. Although I will have to say kudos for throwing caution into the wind. Just keep in mind sweet Rob, if the fans don't love you...your movies don't sell and if your movies don't sell...you get where I am going :)
