Happy New Year From Twilight Blog!

Another year has come and gone and we are just a few steps closer to saying good-bye to the saga that has brought us all together. A few days ago I asked our readers and our Twitter followers what their favorite Twilight moment of 2011 was and we had a great response.

Before I share those moments with you, I want to take the time to thank you all for being such great readers and followers. We work very hard to make sure you stay informed and you in turn have been wonderful supporters of our site. We are all apart of this huge community and no matter how insane or crazy some may be, we all share the same passion for Twilight.

We hope that 2012 will be just as great in Twi-land and for TwilightBlog as 2011 has been. Help us give you what you want by sending us your feedback and what you as a reader would like to see on the page. Let's make 2012 the biggest Twilight year to date!

I reached out to some of our Twitter followers for their favorite Twilight moment of 2011. Do you share some of these same moments? Personally, my favorite 2011 Twi moment was the Breaking Dawn LA Premiere. More specifically, the comfortableness between Rob and Kristen. If you don't already know, I am a HUGE Robsten shipper. Favorite Breaking Dawn Moment

It has been nearly 2 months since The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn was released.
How many times have you watched it?
Since it is nearly the end of 2011, let's share my favorite moment in the movie.

I believe most of you love the wedding scene. It makes me cry because everything is just so beautiful and we twi-hards are here to see how Edward and Bella embark on their future.
My favorite scene is the flashback scene where the venom of Edward is starting to pump through Bella's body and Bella is having flashback of her life.
From Twilight to New Moon, from New Moon to Eclipse and from Eclipse to Breaking Dawn. It has been a long journey since then. Thar scene makes me realize how long I have been obsessed with The Twilight Saga and reminds me how this romantic love story starts at first.

Could There Be A Robsten Union For New Year's?

No one likes ringing in the New Year alone...especially Robsten! After a hectic few months of Breaking Dawn promo and filming Snow White, these two super stars finally took some time to rest and celebrate the holidays.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spent Christmas with their respective families. Rob was in London with his loved ones and was even spotted and snapped hanging out a local pub on Christmas Eve, while Kristen was in LA guitar shopping with her father at Norman's Rare Guitars. Mmmm wonder who she was buying a gift for?

Despite break up rumors (can't really break up when you have never confirmed a relationship) the two on and off screen love birds have spent the past two Christmas holidays apart, but somehow managed to ninja their way into spending a private New Year's together.

The spot of choice for New Year's fun has traditionally been Isle of Wight in England. Its a quaint and quiet location for the super low key stars. But this year they seem to be doing something a little different. Rob was just seen yesterday in LAX after arriving from London. It appears that these two will be welcoming 2012 on Kristen's turf.

There have been reports that these two have already made arrangements to spend New Year's at the swanky Pailhouse Holloway in Hollywood. It is also said that it will be a small intimate gathering of the two with a few friends. Of course being apart of this fandom, we all know to take everything said about these two with a grain of salt.

But no fear, the nonnies will be once again inserting their feet into their mouths when they realize that Rob made a trip back to LA to keep the New Year's tradition alive for him and Kristen. Here's to hoping they have a wonderful New Year's holiday and hopefully a wonderful one for us with some pics of the lovely, super private couple.

Taylor Lautner Falls Victim To Horrible Twitter Hoax

Its bad enough he loses Bella to Edward and now this! Poor Taylor Lautner was a victim of a horrible joke that quickly went viral over the net. How far is too far?

Yesterday a FAKE People magazine cover was photo shopped and made to look like Taylor Lautner had come out of the closet announcing to the world that he was in fact gay. This photo of an "upcoming" cover spread like wildfire over Twitter and other gossip boards.

People magazine did confirm today that the cover was indeed a fake. Someone was just playing a sick joke and it was at Taylor's expense. Taylor or no one from his team has yet to release any kind of comment or statement regarding this hoax.

I saw this yesterday and I must admit that it was obviously fake and besides why would he even think about jeopardizing his career at this stage? Poor guy...but let's be honest, even if he was gay...we'd all still want him :)

Breaking Dawn in Hong Kong

Today is a BIG day for me, a Hong Konger.
Breaking Dawn is finally released in Hong Kong on 22/12/2011.
My friend and I ran to the cinema an watched it right after school.
There is no word to describe what I feel about watching Breaking Dawn on a big screen.

We cried during the wedding scene.
We screamed when Edward first appeared when he was staring out in his house.
We held each other 's hand during the birth scene.
It was like experiencing the whole saga all over again.

One particular scene I loved is the scene where Bella had all her human memory flashback.
From Breaking Dawn to Eclipse to New Moon to Twilight and then at last when Bella was just a baby girl.
It made me realize how far the whole saga had gone and how much I love the whole series.
How long have I been in love with the whole love story between Edward and Bella?
We are all just die-hard twilight fans after all.

Let's face it, Robert Pattinson could dress in a paper bag and still look absolutely gorgeous, but Rob in blue...well it should be illegal to be that beautiful. A new picture has surfaced today of Robert Pattinson and Toby Antis from Radio Heart.

Rob is smoking hot in a Carolina blue shirt and eyes all sparkly. WAY too much goodness for one pic! So Rob, our fashion advice to you is...wear everything in BLUE. Always.

Behind-the-Scenes Wolf Pack Special Effects

Hi Twilighters! In Breaking Dawn Part 1, we got to see the most Wolf Pack action in all the movies! If any of you are like me, I'm sure you thought about how they make them look and everything! Well we have the behind-the-scenes look at the CGI special effects used in Breaking Dawn!

The scene was filmed over three days in a lumberyard with cardboard cutouts to represent the placement of the rendered wolves. Once the animation began, Tippett took great care so details like the texture of the fur and positioning of ears for each wolf told a story on their own.

Rob & Kristen: Best Actors For the Buck

The only way it is acceptable for Rob not to be in first place is when he is beat out by Kristen Stewart! Rob and Kristen topped Forbes' list of Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck List. Kristen came in at #1 while Rob followed closely behind at #3.

The Twilight Saga has catapulted Kristen and Rob into MEGA stardom. Because of this huge boost in their careers, the two of them now have the luxury of being picky about what movies they sign on for. They also have the opportunity to work behind the camera and let their creative juices flow. Rob has actually showed great interest in screen writing while Kristen is genetically disposed to be behind the camera as well.

Breaking Dawn is still killing it in theaters which will only make their worth go up even more. And all before 30?! Amazing! The most fascinating part about it is, they are as humble and down to earth as they were in the beginning.

Robsten's Super Private LA Home For Sale

Somewhere in the midst of are they or aren't they...the love nest that Rob and Kristen rented as a couple is now being sold. The two rented the super private home last year while in LA, well private until papz figured it out.

Zillow stated the home was previously rented for $22, 500/month! Good thing these two make so much money and don't mind forking out money to pay for their privacy. The LA Times reported the home was now on the market being sold for almost $6 million.

Will these two ever finally settle down into a spot that they can call theirs? I guess while they are so busy working it would only make sense to move place to place. The two were said to have been shacking up in a London home while Kristen is working on Snow White & The Huntsman. There were several pics snapped of the two leaving and entering the home together and separate, but I am sure this was Summit's big plan to boost movie sales right? ;) Yeah, seriously doubt that.

'Breaking Dawn Part 1' Release Date!

Hey all you Twi-hards! We are all waiting on the edge of our seats to find out when Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray. According to Hypable.com, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be released February 11, 2012!

Thanks to an entertainment distributor, today we’re learning more details about The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′sDVD/Blu-ray release.

It will be hitting store shelves earlier than thought, and special Valentine’s Day-packaging is in the works.

Saturday, February 11th, 2012 is the release date for the United States. Word is that the official announcement will be coming January 3rd.

What a great Valentine's Day present for us! This isn't official yet, but I'm hoping it's true. I mean, we already have to wait for what seems forever for Breaking Dawn Part 2 so it will definitely tie us over for a bit to have Breaking Dawn Part 1 in our hands in February!

'Breaking Dawn' Tops Box Office for Third Week!

We all knew Breaking Dawn Part 1 was going to be great, but right now it's on a role! Breaking Dawn Part 1 tops the box office for the third week in a row with a whopping $16.9 Million in ticket sales!

For the first time, a Twilight movie has ruled the box office for three weeks in a row. During what was one of the slowest weekends of the year, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1 held on to first, dropping 60 percent for $16.9 million, according to studio estimates.

That’s a smaller decline than what The Twilight Saga: New Moon experienced during the same weekend two years ago — it fell 64 percent. Nevertheless, Breaking Dawn — Part 1 is still trailing the past two Twilightmovies. The fourth entry in the romantic supernatural series has so far grossed a stellar $247.3 million in 17 days. By comparison, New Moon had earned $255.4 million by this point, while The Twilight Saga: Eclipse had collected $255.8 million. This will ultimately be a moot point when Breaking Dawn — Part 2 comes out next November and likely destroys all of the franchise’s records.
